For any business,
leadership and employee alignment is a key factor in getting the expected results.
There are more appropriate tools for the initial task of defining Purpose, Vision
and Mission. However, use the 4 P's Template as a tool for staying aligned
throughout your journey to results.
Define and constantly redefine the
4 P's. Ask employees to contribute their thoughts. Update the 4 P's continuously
as a living document. Talk about and write about the 4 P's. Continuously link
events, changes, and new developments using this communication format. Purpose
- Why are we doing this? Sell the solution.
Picture
- Paint a picture of the future so that people can see themselves there. Ask
where they see themselves in this future.
Plan
- Lay out as much of the plan as you know. Invite ideas about how to get there.
Part
- Get each person who is impacted, involved with a part to play. There are no
bystanders and there are should be no prisoners.
